Glucose Test # 2

Today I took the 3 hour glucose test, this will confirm whether or not I have Gestational Diabetes . To take this test you must fast for 12 hours before, drink 10 ounces of pure glucose, and give 4 vials of blood spaced out over a 3 hour time span, no food until all the vials have been taken. So I had no food from 7:00 PM Tuesday night to 10:00AM Wednesday morning, that's hateful when you're pregnant AND Hypoglycemic. The good news is they have a leather recliner just for me & I brought a book, to pass time.
I found out I have weak veins, no surprise there since every time I have to get blood drawn they can never hit a vein on me the first time. I'd like to thank today's ladies who got it the first time every time, so instead of getting stabbed 8 times for 4 vials I was able to only get stabbed 4 times for 4 vials.
If I hadn't gotten an ultrasound last visit this one would have ranked higher giving blood and all, I didn't have to sit in the waiting room with any body fluids. :)
I think I will have to resign myself to the fact that Wednesdays are just going to be super busy for me. I took a 3 hour test, got registered for the birth and Lamaze, got my nails done and moustache waxed (shut up), stopped by the bank, went grocery shopping, made dinners and lunches for the week, and banana bread, doing laundry, and got the blog updated.
I know you like pictures the only thing new are the nails but they are SO fun. They have green vines with purple & white swirl Pansies.
